how do you include step parents on a family tree? My husbands parents are divorced and re-married. I would like to do a family tree and not sure how to handle that. Where do I insert them so that it makes sense? And step sister? Also, he has an older half brother that was adopted by his father, so is that put under sibling like normal? What crazy things came from mapping your family tree? I'm just curious if anyone out there has stories of recieving a big surprise while mapping a family tree. My story is pretty funny. I went to a fortune teller about a year ago who said she sensed that one of my ancestors was trying to contact me and help me with my work. I went to this fortune teller because I am a poet and my inspiration was lacking. I thought her answer was horrible, but I decided to look back at my geneology anyway.
