How to trace your family tree for free? I'm really interested in finding out about my ancestors and relatives who lived before me and I know about a bunch of family tree tracing sites, but you have to pay. Do you know of any websites that let you trace your family for free and(if possible) without a download? Thanks so much!
How to trace family tree for free? My mum is from Langholm (Dumfries) in Scotland and wants to trace her family tree. Is there a way of doing it easily and free of charge? Also does anyone know anything about the history of the Musgrave/Hughes family from Langholm or could help? (a few names for reference - Margaret Musgrave (my mum who was born 4/5/34), Helen Musgrave, Thomas Edward Musgrave, Thomas Hughes, James Hughes). Many thanks if you can - it would make her year!

Can anyone give free geneaology info for my family tree? I would like to look up my mother's side of the family as far as I can take it. My mother's name is Glynda M. How do you get a free list of all the people on your family tree? My sister traced our family back to, well a long enough distance to tell that our ancestor was the first black woman in Knott co. I am trying to trace my families history and where they originally descend from, i have tried a few websites that ask for a subscription fee, i was wandering if there are any site out there that are free to use? i tried genes reunited but when i found results all i could do was send the author of the family tree a message and when i tried that it tried to make me upgrade and it costs money.
About to trace my family tree, which is best for me? I was on Ancestry.com some time back, and it didn't work too well because I had very little info about my family...but now I have pages of names and dates, as a starting point, so I have plenty of info. So I'm looking for a solution where I can easily research my family history, but I really want to build a tree model as I go, maybe something I can print out, I want to have a full family tree and give it as a gift to some of the elders in my family. And I would like to store my results electronically, in case I have to go back and change something. Does anyone know of any good software, or sites that would help me? Anyone know how i can trace my family tree? Ok, well i know quite a lot about my dad's ancestry. My mum however, one of her grandfather's was an earl and lived in a castle. She doesn't have a lot of family left now though. I'm quite intrigued to find out where my mum gets her dark hair from. She thought that there maybe some spanish/latin somewhere down her side of the family. Is there any way i can find out about my family tree? Would i have to pay for it? Which is the easiest outline frame website to use when building your family tree? I would like to build a family tree using a stenciled out form onlinr somewhere so that if someone else might be looking for information on me or my family or any of my known relatives, they can easily find it. It has to be somewhere that is free for all to view and one that I can add and easily make corrections on if information turns out to be incorrect. I have been able to trace part of my family to the 1800s, but I think I can go further and want to post what I have. Does anyone know of such a site? How can I trace my family tree online? Mayou? (UK)? Hi I have reached a dead end in my genealogy research. I am trying to find more details on my maiden line with the surname of Mayou living in Warwickshire, England. I know that my grandfather born in 1918 and my great grandfather born in approx. 1875 (this is a very rough estimate) shared the name of Sydney Mayou and my grandfather's mother was either named Rose Lilian or Lilian Rose, but this is all I have. It's part of my family... 3 full blooded German brothers came to America (one of the Carolina's if I'm not mistaken) and one brother (my family came from) married a Cherokee Indian princess, so I have been told. Help with family tree? I have recently started tracing my family tree but have unfortunately only got as far as my great grandparents.
