Any ideas on a scrapbook for someone who is retiring?
Just want some ideas on what to put in it, types of pictures, embellishments...etc.! Thanks!

- Use baby pics, occasions that looked fun, anything happy, use grays and medium blues. Use fake flowers and gel pens ( the ones that write like markers) and use 3-d effects. Use colorful paper to work with.
- A friend of mine did this and it was beautiful. She asked all the people who worked with the retiree to write something. (it was a small office). They shared a favourite memory, or said how nice a person she was to work with, or a quote about retiring. She put in casual pictures of the person on the same page that she took in the office. She did a lot of rubber stamping, so she was able to add this for embellishment, with embossing and felt markers, ribbons etc. She put the quotes in little ebellished envelopes so the retiree could pull them out. It made it a bit more intersting. You could do the same thing and add in friends comments and stories if you wanted something bigger. It was very beautiful and a real keepsake.
- If you have pictures taken at work, include those. Put in the retirees future plans; fishing, traveling, gardening, etc.
