  1. yes at a scrapbook store or art supply store they have alot of cute litte things to add to it to make it not look so plain and boring. also if you have a piece of your bouquet or invitations anything like that ps congratulations
  2. add pieces of fabric they used to make your dress (you can buy samplers - DON'T CUT THE DRESS lol) add dried flowers from your bouquet add pieces of fabric from your tablecloths tie on any wedding horseshoes etc tie on any wedding favours if possible write out the words to the song you walked down the isle to any ribbons used (eg. on the cars, bouquets etc) pieces of wedding wrapping papers cards you recieved your something old, something blue, something new and a photo of what was borrowed your garter a swipe of the make up and nail polish you wore some of the confetti or rice thrown, or bubble blower etc a menu of what was served at reception you could have a field day doing this! great idea!!
  3. for each photo, you can have your and your partner's comment pasted.then you can also have testimonial by your friends about you two,or about the wedding day.if there was some funny events on that day,you can add that too..
  4. put little things that remind you of each other. also, put on some of the little things he gave you or you have him. btw, congrats. =]
  5. I like chillys answer, but how about the invitation as well.
  6. When you receive gifts, many of them will include cards. You can use whole cards or cut them up and include just the personal (handwritten) message. You can also include scraps of the wrapping paper and ribbon, maybe even a small web photo of the product/item. Also a photo of the giver(s) would be nice -- make it about the generous people not the "loot." I wouldn't give more than 1/2 to 1/4 page to any single gift. If you have a shower, make part of the "entertainment" having each guest give you advice for a happy marriage. Record and type up a transcript of these "words of wisdom" and include them along with photos of the shower guests. A mini CD of these "words of wisdom" is cheap, easy to make, and a thoughtful enclosure in your thank you notes.
  7. Is your wedding photo album the same as your scrapbook? For the scrapbook, how about adding the receipt or tags from your dress- important notes pages from your planning process- the wedding program- your vows- anything really...
  8. I'm putting my own together as well and I'm adding the invitation we sent out, a the save the date, a bridal shower invitaion, who we had for a photographer, where he proposed, our menu, engagement photo, some pictures of the wedding day to chronicle that, dried flowers from my boquet, a picture of the church as well as reception, and all of the little things that go into planning. I want to be able to look through my scrapbook and relive the engagement, the planning of the wedding, and of course the wedding itself. Good luck with it and congrats!!
  9. Include the invitation for the wedding.
  10. you got married in Vegas, right? I did too - almost ten years ago! Anyway, I put in stuff from the city - the hotel we stayed at, a poker chip, cocktail napkin, matchbook, stuff like that in it & lots of stuff from the chapel too. (you might even get stuff off the internet for this) It makes me smile everytime I look at it. Celebrate your Vegas wedding!
  11. i put things like our napkins with our names, our invitations and thank you cards which were personalized with our picture as well as our wedding announcement from the newspaper, there are alot of things you can use, be creative and have fun with it
  12. I have started doing a scrapbook of us now, and when we get married, I intend on doing a scrapbook, with all the sweet little notes hes left on my car, or the notes hes left around the house, or at my work, and starting the scrapbook for that out with a few of the notes, and i might mix the one scrapbook in with the wedding one. so that weve got our whole story in one.
