I want to trace my family tree?

I have got an account on Genes Reunited and i have made a family tree on there, however i can't search for my family members or contact other people with the same name is my family without paying. Do you know any sites that will let me search for free? Or any tips on finding some dates about my family? Bear in mind I'm 14!!
