Could someone help me with this?
According to my family's family tree, before my European ancestors I have ancestors who were from the Middle East, like the area of Syria and Jerusalem, I know that it is very distant, but do I carry some of their DNA?

- probably yes.
- Short answer: yes. Just like 1,000 years from now your ancestors will have some of your DNA.
- Well it depends how you are realted to them...but yeah its possible.
- maybe...maybe not...do you have traits or gene similarities to their kind?... sometimes, an ancestors blood passes through many generations before it reaches another heir...
- possibly
- Only direct male descendents. So as long as is was like your father's father's father's father's, etc... go to ancestry.com and check out their DNA test section it will explain it in greater detail.
- DNA is carried for thousands of years, via both father and mother. DNA does not narrow to a country or person/ nationality.. it predates any of that information. Dna survives... records either did not exist, or do not survive.
