Ancestry Research paper...?

My final paper is due in about 2 weeks... It is a research paper on my maternal ancestry, the main point is that I have familty tree records that go back to the 1600's but I am also including DNA maternal results to find out who my ancestors are... How should I start it and what should i include? How do I list the family tree or do I just reference it? Any help would be appreciated!!!

1. Listing your family tree might get a bit confusing and long winded. I would suggest attaching a diagram of your family tree and referencing that diagram.
