where can i find a site to do my family tree originally from Dominican Republic?

im trying to do my family tree, but my ancesters originate in Dominican Republic. where can i find the correct information to complete my tree? is there a website i can locate this on?

2. I am afraid that the countries in the Caribbean do not have the infrastructure nor interest to put together a major genealogy website. They have also resisted letting Ancestry.com or the LDS filming their records because the filming process destroys the originals. You need to visit Cyndi's List and look for the research groups working in the Caribbean and see what their advice is. If you have family still living there or plan to take a trip, then you visit the archives in the capitol and the parishes where the family worshipped.
