Free Family Tree programme for Apple Macs?

I am trying to find a free family tree programme that will work on an Apple Mac and accept a Gedcom file from Family Tree Maker. I want to send our family tree to a distant cousin that has a Mac. Her programme does not accept Gedcom files and she does not want to have to buy a new file when she already has her tree set on the one she is already using. Any help will be very much appreciated.
