Scrapbook Page Ideas?

Hi! I have recently started to put together a scrapbook. I've already done a page about my sisters and my trip to Disney World. I've only done those two pages so far. I can't come up with any ideas to do for another page, though, except for my dance recital, but that's in May of 2009. So, do you have any ideas? Please do not tell me to look it up on google, I've tried that. Oh, and I'm 13 years old, so don't tell me to make one about my "husband" or "my kids", cause I definitely don't have any. And also, please don't suggest to make one about a recent vacation because like I said, I already did the Disney World one (that's the only one this year). So please tell me your ideas for a new scrap book page (ALL ideas are welcome, even if there's more than one, cause I'd absolutely love more than one!) And I've also already done a page about my friends!

  1. It really depends on what your pictures are of. School? A favorite sports team? A favorite hobby or activity (besides dance)? A family get together? A lot of scrappers will center the theme of the page around what's going on in the picture. They will also take elements out of the picture and make that the theme for the page. Even something as small as flowers in the background or a sports team banner on the wall can be used for a whole theme of a page. With creativity the sky is the limit and your creativity is up to you. Let me look up a few more theme ideas and if you want to email me personally, I can list a few more for you. ~Edit~ You don't have to have pics to do a scrapbook page. You can use anything, even just a typed or handwritten story can be the main focal point. Just remember to use embellishments that have to do with whatever the page is about. Here are some ideas: ~A Day in the Life of: what activities you do from a day to day basis. ~Weekend Activities: places you like to go and things you like to do. ~Inside Jokes: come on--everyone has a few... ~Family funny stories ~Family myths: stories that will be forgotten when not written down ~Pets ~Heritage and Traditions: what sorts of traditions does your family do around the holidays that you might want to remember years down the road ~The first 10 years of your life (or in your case, the first 13): what events happened to you or the world that you remember or would like to remember ~The Year You were Born ~Memories of someone special ~A Journal: a scrapbook is a great way to keep a journal--you can keep all the mementos in it too! Also remember to check your local library for scrapbook books. They often have lists of things that can be used for themes in pages too.
  2. There are a lot of things you can try, and here are some that I have done: -every major holiday of the year -first day of school, then and now -then and now pictures of your family -baby pages of you and your brothers and sisters -pets -road trip -the garden -prom/homecoming -sports meets -grand parents -in the kitchen making cookies -sleep over -at the mall -at the beach -at a scenic tourist spot -at the park -new haircut -bedhead shots first thing in the morning -chillin' -family tree -nostalgic things Like I said, I have done some of theses pages, but I always have some ideas for the other pages working around in my mind. Hope this helps you out some. :)
  3. Grab a camera and take photos around town; where you join friends for a soda, your church, your school, favorite clothing store, theater, skating rink, etc. I wish I'd done this as a kid, because after so many years businesses move or are torn down, and you'll wish you had a picture.
  4. Try doing a page on your pets. If you collect something as a hobby, why not include photos of your collection. For example, I collect TF toys and I've photographed the toys to be put into a scrapbook. Other ideas include a scrap book about the wild animals that live near my home and about my imaginary friends.
  5. There are tons of things you can scrapbook. There is nothing wrong with doing multiple pages of your vacations or friends. But here are some more things you can scrapbook. School Events Pets a night out with your friends A nature walk A trip to the park or zoo your house your family your room your dance studio holidays (theres quite a few coming up) There are so many things you can scrapbook. You can scrapbook anything. You dont have to just scrapbook pictures, use ticket stubs, movie stubs, receipts, etc.
