Is it normal to love your city even if it's not world renowned.?
I live in Fort Worth, Texas and I love it here. I was born here and this is where my family lives. It has that Western Cowboy heritage but is now a moder city with skyscrapers in its downtown. Even though it might be overshadowed by Dallas, I still love it here. It isn't that special and a lot of people don't like it here. So is it normal to love your city for the fact of its history, heritage, genealogy, and the place that gave you life? Or am I just overly biased?

- Yeah lol i love this hole im living in now Australia :P
- Everything you know is in that city. So yeah it is normal to love your city, how small or insignificant it might be to the rest of the world...to you it might be the best place on earth. I live in Rotterdam, Holland. Compared to other cities around the world it is nothing special, but my heart lies there and I will always love that city.
- I don't think you are bias. I think it's natural to love the place you stay in. Cos the surrounding, culture, upbringing, society form you. That's why you like it.
- I live in a tiny Little town in the UK no body would have ever heard it. The chains for the Titanic were made here and that's about it. My fella hates living here but i am passionate about it.
- Totally. I really miss Nashville, TN. 120 country music radio stations and all! I had to listen to Garth Brooks the other day just to feel normal again.
- You love your city because you have all your treasured memories set here. This was always your treasured place - home.
