Christians: Can everybody in the worlds DNA or family tree be traced back to Adam and Eve?

Do you even "believe" in DNA? or is that the work of satan?

Public Comments

  1. Seeing as we don't have DNA from the "original" humans, it'll probably never be possible to see where our DNA really originated from, unless we find some way to make time travel work lol
  2. Actually, DNA traces everyone back to a common female ancestor and all males back to a common male. Betcha didn't know that one, now, didja? peace
  3. No. Everyones' mitochondrial RNA can be traced through our mothers.
  4. Yes. There is a book based on research but I can't remember the name. They have found a gene that traces back to one female that is inherent worldwide. I think your comments below your question are specious and insulting.
  5. yes , it will be traced back to noah's family to adam and eve. jesus has a family bloodline too. they are the jews.
  6. DNA needs some human cells. Family tree in the Bible can be traced, The rows of 'begots' at the beginning of the New TEstaments are derived from the family tree. the linage.. The woman whose everybody 'supposedly's ' related from i couldn't find. What blarney's that tale from. How did they piece such nonsense, with guessings equaling Jurassic Park = Humansic Park
  7. Yes, everyone's DNA can be traced back to Adam and Eve. *Acts 17:26 And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;
  8. everyone believes in DNA... 1st of all how old is the earth? thats alot of generations? do they have dna sample of adam and eve? and finally after noahs ark, everyone was wipe out except noahs and his family.. then after human polulation grew into a city.. they made the tower of babel to reach heavens and god.... so god did not like this and divided human races and languages.. white, black, hispanic, oriental, arabic..and so on.. bottom line even if u have adam and eve dna today... its too much generations apart.. iam sure it can connect everyones dna into 1 even after the tower of babel
  9. 1. Nope.. Even if we trace all our dna.., we do not have samples of those two.. 2. Do I believe in DNA? Are you from the 80s? 3. Is that the work of satan? I do not know what dna strands god used to create satan.. Oops, wait, well, I think it is obvious that it is god's work..
  10. There's nothing to "believe" about DNA. You can come to one of the labs at my university and see it for yourself. "Mitochondrial Eve," as she has been dubbed, is a common ancestor of all humanity, but her existence has never supported the idea of a population bottleneck (as suggested in the Bible). As well, Biblical stories simply do not account for the modern diversity in the gene pool that we see today. It is preposterous to think that it could be otherwise from a handful of individuals in the same family.
  11. since there is no adam or eve dna on file then it can never be proved so i would have to say no we are not related to them
  12. I eat strawberry DNA! =D
  13. No. Were there people on earth before Adam and Eve? - Ecc 1 Verse 9: The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done, is that which shall be done; and there is no new thing under the sun. Verse 10: Is there anything whereof it may be said, see, this is new? it hath been already of old time, which was before us. Verse 11: There is no remembrance of former things; neither shall there be any remembrance of things that are to come with those that shall come after. (The new heaven and new earth). (Many people saw flying saucers. Some of them preachers that will not lie. Satan became Satan when he was thrown from heaven because he wanted the people of earth to pray unto him. This happened before Adam, because he was in Paradise, with adam and eve, telling eve to eat the forbidden fruit. He was already thrown out of Heaven. Through which people was he thrown out of heaven? there must have been other people before Adam and Eve, and the world did come to an end many times before.) Gen 4 Verse 1: Adam and eve had two children, Cain and Abel. Verse 8: Then Cain slew Abel, and God cursed him. Verse 14: And Cain said to the Lord: And I shall be a fugitive and a vagabond in the earth; and every one that findeth me shall slay me. Verse 15: And God said: Therefore, whosoever slayeth Cain, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold. (Now, at that stage, there were only three people on the earth, Adam, Eve, and the only living son, Cain. Who was Cain afraid of when he told God that everybody was going to slay him? and on who is God going to take vengeance sevenfold if they slain Cain? there must have been other people that we do not know about.) Verse 17: And Cain knew his wife; and she conceived, and bare Enoch: And he builded a city, and called the city Enoch. (Now, there were only Adam, Eve and Cain on the earth, where did he find a wife? and then, he build a city. He must have been a madman to build a city on his own, and that for three people? this is enough evidence to prove that there were people before Adam and Eve, and
  14. I believe so, and as for the answer about Noah...was he not a decedent of Adam and Eve?
  15. If we had that information available to us, then yes.
  16. Another very interesting question that you will never find an answer to, which is of course, the purpose to many religions. I gave you "Interesting Question" points, for the initiative, though. Some questions (and Answers!?) require much more thought than people are aware of, or willing to invest at times, would you agree? Theologically speaking: If you actually believe in "The Garden . . . " and "Adam and Eve" then SHOULD draw the conclusion that: "We are not related to them genetically". UNLESS: Eve's "Boy Children" had sex with her, thus creating humanity from their incestuous union? AND: That God would consider this proper, in accordance with the "perfection" of the garden. AND: Even so, it would Lead to the conclusion that all humanity is inbreed, thus we are all related already. THUS: Incest would not be a sin in the eyes of God. Yes? Many theologians argue that The "world" existed already, when "Adam and Eve" were "thrown out". Just as the "world" already existed when "Lucifer" was "thrown down". Most knowledgeably people agree that DNA existed before "Satan took over the world". Just as many "believing" intellectual agree that DNA is "God's Architectural Drawing" for "mankind". SO: It seems that it is all a question as to whether Satan is (the) God (of this world), or God is Satan, or if God and Satan are all part of one creation, or why God would create such imperfection as “Satan” represents (became), or why God would allow Satan to have so much power, or why God would give his "precious creation" (man) over to the rule of Satan, if even for "a specific time", . . . . and, perhaps, just how much "Love" really has to do with it all? etc. etc. etc. "Pawing through the Bible" will not give you answers. However, it is the questions that can lead to enlightenment. Never stop asking! JohnW.
  17. DNA shows there were a number of different human family groups and not one so if one group came from Adam and Eve who created the other ones?!!
