What heritage do you get this color hair with...?
The hair color is brown, but it also has blonde and sometimes looks red. Naturally. The parents hair colors are very dark brown, almost black and sandy blonde. Here is an example of the color...(the girl) http://i441.photobucket.com/albums/qq132/flowerjl/medave.jpg

- Genealogy is not the same thing as genetics. In genealogy we trace ancestry with documents/records. We don't take into consideration what a person looks like in determining their ancestry. A lot of people with dark brown hair will have reddish tones. It is not specific to any race or people. I had a cousin that did so, particularly in summer when he was in the sun a lot. I knew a boy who was half Spanish and his hair did the same.
