Is there any websites containing historical records of passed/retired Police Officers?

Im tracing my ancestors for my Family Tree, and all I know is that My Great Great Grandfather was in the police force. PC Okey (Not sure if he had any higher service) Plus i have no idea which force he was in

1. Depends on the police service..... probably not though. There is usually a list of police officers who have died in the line of duty, but no list of retirees.
