Ideas for a scrapbook I am doing for my step-dad's 50th birthday?
We are getting pictures from when he was younger, and up-to-date pictures. Any cool ideas for the scrapbook?

- I had a bunch of journal cards and safe scrapbook pens at my parents party and I had everyone write a funny or sweet memory. Then I placed them thru out the scrapbook with the pictures we took at the event. It turned out great!
- Sounds like a wonderful project. You could create something of a photo biography of your dad. Maybe you could talk to other members of the family (his brothers/sisters, parents etc.) to find out some stories from when he was growing up and raising his family etc, especially events that you have photos for. Try this site for some great scrapbooking ideas. http://www.simply-stunning-scrapbooks.com/index.html Ilike the idea in the previous answer. If you want to include personal notes in it, but want to have the album completed by his birthday, maybe have the special people in his life write some note for him before the party and include them in the book. I am sure he is going to really love this scrapbook. Good luck with your project!!
- I did a 30th anniversary party for my parents...we decided to include scrapbook paper/cards for everyone to return with their RSVP. They were asked to share a favorite memory of my parents and any pictures they were willing to share. I scrapped a page for each person who returned a memory with their note and a picture of them with the guests of honor...We got a great response and had the book available at the party for everyone to look at. We also had some extra supplies on hand for anyone who wanted to add a memory at the party.
