I am making a scrapbook, any ideas?
First time scrapbooker. I am working on a budget, but have already exceeded it a lot. I have everything to work with that I can possibly think of. My problem is coming up with a Title for a page. Then, adding an appropriate picture to go with it. Also, I lost my best friend who was also my dear Brother just last week. He was 43. I want to make a Very Special, memory book of just the two of us, and of course, I will add pictures of his wife, and our parents and my son. Any ideas? Or, better yet, is anyone willing to send me a picture via e mail of their scrapbook pages? I have done research on the internet, but when I start on the page, my mind goes blank. All serious suggestions are welcome. Oh, yeah, Can anyone give me some space saving, organizing, tips for my scrapbooking items. I also make artificial flower arrangements, which I am very proud of, but that came natural to me. So, I need some very good space saving/organizing tips bad!

- for a title you can put YOU MAY BE GONE BUT YOU'RE STILL IN OUR HEARTS.then arrange a bunch of pictures of you him and any thing else you want.put stickers of angels etc.good luck =) and sorry about your loss =(
- Sometimes titles can be hard to come up with. Sometimes it's easier to find a title that expresses your feelings than to come up with your own words. Try this site for some titles and resources http://www.simply-stunning-scrapbooks.com/scrapbooking-page-titles.html There are some examples of scrapbook pages and sketches on that site as well. I have done some scrapbooks on family and heritage. I would be happy to email you some layouts pics. If you want to contact me go to my profile to find my email address. I think your idea for a memorial book of your brother is a wonderful idea. I'm sure you and your family will cherish that book. What a great way to pay tribute and remember your brother. You can pick colors and themes that remind you of your brother, maybe of some of the things he liked to do. Maybe you can include some stories from his life. You could type these on acid free paper and include them with the pictures. If you have cards, letters or notes from him, you could add these to the scrapbook. I made a heritage scrapbook and i have included post cards from my grandparents. As for organizing solutions.... I have very limited space and a 1 year old son. I have to keep all my scrapbooking supplies and tools put away and compact. I have organized them so that I can easily get them out and use them, also they are portable so that i can take them to crops with me. I have a large scrapbook organizer bag for most of my tools. some of the small tools I have smaller cases to keep them in that go into the large bag. As for stickers and papers etc. I keep them in pockets in an expandable file (acid free) that is made for scrapbooking. you can find 12X12 sizes. This way I can take it with, also organized so I know what I have. I personally like Creative Memories products. You can check out what they offer at http://www.mycmsite.com/sites/rachelhuber/catalog-index?event=showmenu&eventId=274&productGroupId=649&categoryId=&categoryIdParm=%7C190%7C274%7C&pageTitle=Organizers&relatedItem=N&qtyOrdered=&productId=&itemSku=&act=&selectedCategory= I have also organized all my photos into boxes with tabs so i can find the pictures i want easily. Hope some of these suggestions help.
