- 1. Get friends to pose for you. Different poses 2. Set up flowers in a vase 3. Quick sketches of old churches and old buildings I could think of a million things to put in a scrap book. Now its your turn to think of some. Good Luck
- I suggest you consider looking at Cropmom.com for inspiration. You can create your own designs at Cropmom.com at http://www.cropmom.com a digital online card making, scrapbooking, collage site. You can also add your own text. Manipulate your photos by rotating, cropping, etc. Upload your photo. Make a layout using it. You can add your own text. There are thousands of designer graphics to choose from to create your card. They have templates that you can modify. You can even create a fake magazine cover and put your own photos on it. And they have mock magazine templates. Then save it. Go to My CropMom and click on the layout. Then click the "share" link. It'll let you enter the email address of the recipient, and your card will be sent via email for free. Or you can upload to your favorite social networking site for free. An, if you want, you can purchase the print-quality JPEG file of your layout (it doesn't cost much) and download it to your computer. From here, you can either print your layout at home. Or - what I usually do - is have my layout printed on a by Shutterfly, SeeHere, or Snapfish.
- This girl makes a journal filled with her drawings and other random things: http://missthumbelina.blogspot.com/search?updated-max=2009-02-23T22%3A57%3A00-09%3A00&max-results=8 She also has a lot of artwork on her previous pages. Also you could try searching like "scrap book" or something in deviantArt
- Make a list of some visual-arts key words, such as "color," "texture," "shading," "contrast," "line," "shape," and so on. Then make a section of your scrapbook for each key-word. Come up with small works that illustrate each of the concepts. You can round out each section with bits and pieces from magazines, wrapping-paper scraps, friends' sketches, flat natural objects, found objects, photos, partial and experimental drawings of things ("studies"), etc., to bolster the concept and provide a "trail of inspiration."
