- This really sounds interesting and I'd love to "Borrow" this idea for my scrapbooking site. Hmmmm.... requires a lot of thought. You could start out by stating that your birth was actually thousands of years in the making... [it's a genealogy thing... if your gggggg grandfather didn't marry your gggggg grandmother... <giggle>]. Are you starting with the development in the womb? Learning to speak, walk, balance run, think, grow, reason, etc.? I'm really not sure exactly what all is required. A little more info and the direction you want to take would be helpful. Paper or digital [scrapbook]? If you have PhotoShop or Paint Shop Pro, you can do it digitally and lay your pages out -- if you make an error you don't lose anything because it is digital, you can just 'redo' it. Then when you have it all completed you can just print your pages and assemble them in a binder. If you go this route, I'd suggest making your pages 8.5x11 to fit in a binder. You can even get a binder with a clear view cover so that you can create your own. I'd check out some websites and make note of all the different things/stages of child development. Then select photos of yourself at those stages. Maybe you talked earlier than the average --- mention that. Throw humor into the journaling as well. Teachers also enjoy a good laugh. You can add a timeline that would span the tops of all of your pages, and place a little arrow indicating what stage of development that page is referring to. The scrapbooking site will help you with layout, design, etc.
- awesome! you should totally make a cool mini scrapbook album. It would be perfect for what you want. One small page per person that dont need a whole heap of embellishments. you can make em from paper bags, chip board, cds, card, coffee filters or a mixture of the whole lot. take a look at different mini albums for ideas. ideas + tutorials here http://www.scrapbook-crazy.com/ some ideas for about me scrapbooks http://www.scrapbook-crazy.com/simply-scrapbooking.html
