How long does it take to receive DNA results?

For my graduation project I wanted to test my brothers Y-DNA through Family Tree DNA ( most likely I would order the test with the 37 STR markers). Because the project has strict deadlines I need to know how long it takes to get your results after sending your kit.

2. When I did the Nat'l Geo DNA it took a couple of months but that was when they were heavily advertising it and lots of people sent samples. I don't know that they can tell you exactly how long, but you can try.
3. About 6 weeks, but it varies. Also, www.familytreedna.com has tutorials, etc., newsletters and more. You can e-mail them with your questions.
