Has anyone considered that past life experiences are actually cell-memory or DNA from millions of past people?

Considering our family tree, it has to go back very far and I was wondering how much a blood relitive would have affect on who and what we are now. Any thoughts on this?

1. there's no compelling evidence to suggest that people retain information from "past lives" the brain is constructed based on DNA but its essentially a blank slate so far as memories are concerned. there is no new information that is stored within DNA during a persons life, the only changes are a result of mutations, which are copy errors, not enough to suggest memorization.
2. our body as no cells that im aware of that are alive for as long as we are. really i dont think there is a cell in your body that you were born with, everything dies and then is replaced. So i dont see how memory could be stored in cells and then passed on to our children this way. if that was were past life memories come from then how come we dont all have memories that are actually our parents? you would think if memories could be passed down that way then peoples parents memories would be the most common, but there not. Also people reportedly have past life experiences from lives that there family tree wouldnt connect to. If past lives are real in anyway, they must come from somewhere else. its not something physical, i think you need to start thinking out oft he box, add a few extra dimensions maybe.
3. Excellent question, which the previous answerers have covered well. My personal experience in life has taught me that re-incarnation is probably not true, but I wonder! My granddad died before I was born, yet our interests and achievements are uncannily similar, even though my parents didn't nurture this. I do not believe I am a re-incarnation of my grandfather, but your cell-memory angle got me thinking. Perhaps his influence is more spiritual than genetic, but I'm still glad he's family.
4. Actually Taken from experience, I truly Believe that some of the Dreams we have, are Dreams of our past lives. I actually have lots of memory from previous lives ive lived. & we all bring back something into the next life.
