Ideas for pages in a scrapbook for my boyfriend?

Ive got loads of pictures just no idea how to make them look good. I'd like to achieve the effect of something similar to the one in the film My Sister's Keeper.

1. Try keeping them to 'ages' say the youngest his school and pets, holidays, 'big events' he went to, through to hobbies, any awards or achievements, hair styles! clothes, music preferences, TV programmes liked - EG: this is 'Joe' in his 'I love Dr Who' phase - he liked the cybermen, hence the Tee shirt' etc. Try and incorporate school reports, tickets to venues, programmes, Google 'scrapbooking', there are loads of american and British sites that will give you tips and ideas, pages to buy, scraps and tags. Good luck, i'm sure it will turn out great!
2. I didn't see that movie, but make a theme for each page. Cut out words like LOVE, LIFE, etc. Or his name. Use ribbons, wrapping paper, etc. anything to contrast against the pictures.
