Getting involved with a guy from the wrong side of the tracks?

Well I like this guy and he's sort of left of centre. He has a criminal record for shoplifting when he was like 12 or something and he goes to this bad school, but he seems really friendly and nice to me. Also I go to a pretty pricey school and my family are all Catholic so what do you think?

  1. I'd say stay away from guys until you are done with school.
  2. If I were you i'd stay away
  3. Same old teenage girl stuff Boy is bad...girl thinks it's mysterious Boy treats girl like crap....girl wonders what is wrong with her
  4. get to know him and use your judgment, is he like everyone else and made some mistakes or is he just a bad seed...find out
  5. Nothing should be done. Concentrate on your school, get some degree and get a good income. By that time better guy w/o any criminal record will come to you.Be patient.
  6. if he is still under 20 then you should stay away , else give him a chance..people change with time.
  7. i think you would be asking for trouble from your family if you get involved!!
  8. I think my current boyfriend and best guy friend in the world both used to be drug dealers, drink too much, shoplift (to ridiculous amounts), trespass, vandalize, almost anything you can think of. My best guy friend spent his senior year in "bad kid" school. So I say give him a chance. My boyfriend (who still owns many guns to be safe from everything he was in before) and still drinks, gets into some trouble sometimes, treats me like a princess. Actually, I've been with some goody guys before, and my boyfriend now (with the criminal record, jail time, everything) is actually the better relationship. =)
  9. bad boys are fun. advice? http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AqLLYzX7plty4EExoYyx967sy6IX;_ylv=3?qid=20091130005033AAllSe5
  10. hehe sorry dat reminds me of that one song by paula abdul; opposites attract. NEWAYS i say, go for it. if he seems like a nice guy and if he dosnt steal anymore then i dnt think him going to a "bad" skool matters. as long as he can show ur parents that he can be respectful I dnt think there wud be a problem then. unless ur parents are strict and up tight
  11. Ian pretty much said it all. . . . :D
