want to trace my family tree back to Poland. Where can I go or look to search this for me?

1. the same place everyone else goes. The town and church records from the area that your ancestors came from. If there is a problem because of records being destroyed during WWII, then the Mormons have most of them from at least the larger cities/towns. You can locate the Mormon "family history libraries" near you by going to family search.org.
