How to get heirlooms on WoW?

How to get heirlooms on WoW? I just hit level 80 on my shaman and i want to get heirlooms that give bonus xp for my new characters so they dont take as long to level. I see people running around with them and i was wondering how i can get them. thanks :D

2. different guy? lol anyway... do heroics until you get the correct number of badges. once you get them downgrade them into Heroic badges and buy whichever piece you prefer
3. You can get them 3 ways: 1. PvP heirlooms can be purchased from vendors in Wintergraps with stone keeper's shards. You obtain these either in PvP dailies or by looting them from instance bosses when your faction holds Wintergrasp. 2. PvE heirlooms can be purchased with emblems of honor that you can buy with emblems of valor that you can buy with emblems of conquest that you can buy with emblems of triumph that are dropped by bosses in heroic instances and low-level raids. There is an heirloom vendor near the other emblem vendors near the inns in Dalaran. 3. PvE heirlooms can also be purchased with champion's seals obtained in the Argent Tournament. There is a vendor in one of the tents on the tournament grounds. If you do the tournament dailies religiously, there are eventually 9 daily quests that give 10 champion's seals a day, and the heirlooms go for 75 seals and up. You may have to be exalted with the Argent Crusade in order to buy these; I don't think you have to be an Argent champion but don't remember.
