Making a successful DVD with holiday photos??

I have been trying to make a DVD using holiday photos from Greece and adding Greek music for a nice atmospheric background. After several attempts and using different brands of DVD discs, I am still getting the same problem...the pictures and music are on the DVD but when I play it back on the TV, it keeps on jumping and freezing momentarily. I have even tried slowing down the recording speed to 8x, then 4x but still not having any success. Could anybody please advise me how I can resolve this problem so my family and I can watch a DVD without the pictures pixellating and the music jumping? Thanks in advance. PS: I am using Windows Media Centre to create the DVD's.

  1. Don't use Windows media centre! Use Nero instead. It's around £35 on Amazon. It works on all computers and TVs and is easy to use.
  2. use nero and make a photo cd thats what i use it plays in dvd players and cause its a cd instead of a dvd disc you can fit more pictures on it
  3. i use windows movie maker as i do weddings the video on the front followed by my pictures with sound added it's an easy program to use and is already on your system free.you can also put credits on it the more you play the better you become.hope this helps
  4. Movie DVDs has a special file system. So you have to use a Movie DVD making program to for this task. Try to use AVS Video Converter from AVS Video Tools http://www.dvdvideosoft.com/avs-video-tools.htm - download, install and run the program - open a file or file you want to burn - click “To DVD” button - click “Convert Now”
  5. try ulead video studio
