1. The Morman Church has a treasury of free Genealogy information... go to... www.LDS Genealogy.org ... Their genealogy info is open for anyone to use...
2. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormons) has a lot of information, all free, at www.familysearch.org You can search for your ancestors, download a free software program to help you organise your information, or find out how to do family history research in different parts of the world. Anyone can use these resources, not just Church members.
3. The three best free sites are: www.familysearch.com and www.rootsweb.com and www.usgenweb.com I love these sites. Good luck in your search!
