- I am currently working on 2 pages for a family reunion. One of the pages I am calling "A year in the life" and I am using pictures of events or activities we did in the last year e.g.: painting our daughters room, our new baby, playing in the snow, Christmas time etc. I find it hard to get going, but once you do the ideas will start flowing. Have fun!
- You could try http://www.scrapbooking-warehouse.com/ . They have a lot of really cool stuff, including books that help with ideas and such. Books are especially helpful to have around because you can always use them for reference. :)
- Try this free website they have hundreds of ideas and layouts that you can add your photos to and print. I love scrapbooking, and it is a wonderfully enjoyable family project too. I have not used this website, so please be sure to read their terms of agreement. http://www.smilebox.com/designTypes/scrapbooks.jsp?partner=google&campaign=content_scrapbook

- I see your name says you're in CA. If you're in Southern CA then maybe you'd like to visit the largest scrapbooking store in so. calif. called Collective Journey. Anything you could possibly want is there and they have great classes too. My daughter worked there for 6 years and even taught some classes. Here's a website too. Good luck.

- www.diynet.com and www.hgtv.com are goos sites for any kind of craft ?
- I have some scrapbooking samples in my art galleries... most of my samples are of cards, but you can browse through for some scrapbook ideas. www.LovenStamps.com Don't limit yourself to just scrapbooking layouts for ideas, either. For example, if you see an ad in a magazine that catches your eye, stop and look at it closely... did the colors appeal to you? The way the title or information stood out? The arrangement of the pictures on the page? Anything you see around you can make a great inspiration for a scrapbook page. A neat way to help yourself figure out what you like and don't like for your scrapbooking is to make up a notebook of inspirations. I like to keep mine small and tuck it in my purse or diaper bag. But keep it handy! When you see a quote you like, an ad on the side of a bus with a cute theme, a magazine article, or pretty much any inspiration, write it down. This kind of notebook is great for writing down color combos you see, too. For example, there is a pizza place in my town with a chocolate brown paint job, a strip of garish green around the top and yellow writing with bright red lamplights... it sounds scary here, but it's been a great inspiration both in pattern and in color for some of my stamping projects!
- I like to use Simple Scrapbooks Magazine for most of my ideas. I have only been scrapbooking for a couple of years and they have great layouts.
