Ancestry.com is a good one, but they charge you for just about everything. Try Rootsweb.com. They're pretty good too. Or just type in the name you're looking for ancestors for and see what comes up.
Geneology.com, ancestry.com (they like to snag you in and then charge, charge, charge) and the Mormon page is great familysearch.org!!!
