does anyone no any free family tree programs that i can download?

any websites? that i can produce a small family tree on? programs i can download for free??? any1?

1. brothers keeper is as good as any. you could also download PAF from familysearch.org genealogy.org used to have a list of downloadable programs but it is offline at the moment you could try it later. cydislist.com has a section called software & computers, you might find something in there as well
2. Most beginners use the free PAF program (Personal Ancestry File) which is available free at the Mormon website - www.familysearch.org. It uses the standard GEDCOM file formats and can easily be exported to another paid program at a later date. Nowadays I use Family Tree Maker, but you have to pay for most of them after a trial period. The Mormon program is as good as any.
3. There are some places that you can try. I would start with you library. They can offer you some items to get you started. They can also direct you to some onlince sites that are free.

6. I read your question and i did a search for any items which you were asking about. I have found two sites where you can get it from. I think on one site it gives you a 14 day trial, and the other you can download. I hope these will help you out.
