  1. just put in things you like....take pictures with friends and do it up like that. or if you ever go on outings ( to the zoo, an amusement park, etc) take your camera get pics, and do a page for different places...you could also go through magazines, cut out pictures you like (or of items you want to buy, clothes, makeup, accesories, etc.) and make different pages out of those. don't forget the brightly colored scrapbook pages you can buy at a hobby store. try going to one, they usually have a lot of stuff for scrapbooks. a scrapbook is something for you to go crazy...but mainly for you to record things and people that you love! have fun!
  2. Be fun and energetic with color and design. Use funky guitar pic and flower embellishments. Use the child's personality to help you with the project... Color schemes for more classic girl look is chocolate brown with pink
  3. I'm not sure if it is a book you are MAKING FOR a 12 yo, or if the 12 yo will be making it herself. Creative Memories has several "Paper Album Kits" with themes that could be considered "girly." (Purple Passion, Garden Party, For Her are beautiful!) These are kits that allow you to quickly assemble a great album--including the papers, die cuts, embellishments, and title stickers. I've put these together in 40 minutes or less. They even come with an envelope so you can mail them (addnt'l postage needed, of course.) www.creativememories.com They are only $15 and all you'll need is adhesive and a pen! Good luck!
